Garret West has been in the IT industry since 2007. Starting off at an MSP and VAR in the San Francisco Bay Area, he quickly took an interest in enterprise networking where he did pre- and post-sales engagements. In 2014, Garret joined NVIDIA as a network engineer, where he is currently employed.

His experience as a generalist across many different networking vendors and technologies at scale has influenced his passion for network automation and infrastructure as code.

Garret now lives in Boulder County, Colorado, where he enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking the beautiful Colorado landscapes, spending time with his family, and playing/streaming PC games (NVIDIA, remember?!).
